If you have ever tried it yourself, you know it is one of the best cookie recipes you will ever find. Since its creation in the 1960s, Penn Station Cookie Recipe has been one of America’s favorite desserts.

Nutrition Facts Per Serving:
What Does Penn Station Cookie Taste Like?
I find this cookie delicious and not too rich, and the butter makes it so soft and delicate.
Can I Make Gluten-Free Penn Station Cookie?
Yes, you can. Just simply substitute the all-purpose flour with a gluten-free one, or maybe your favorite almond flour would do.
You can also make this recipe using other chocolate combinations that you like best by just taking out a few of the ingredients and adding them in.
For example, you could substitute the melty dark chocolate with white chocolate and then add in some vanilla extract, some orange zest, or even cocoa powder if you want to give it that extra kick of flavor! The possibilities are endless.
How Should I Serve Penn Station Cookie?
You can serve it simply with coffee or milk, and they are also delicious and served alongside a bowl of vanilla ice cream.
Or you can make them into ice cream sandwiches by putting some chocolate ice cream in between 2 of these warm cookies.
It is also nice to top off your warm cookie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and then drizzle it with some fudge sauce or hot fudge sauce for a hearty treat!
Are Penn Station Cookies Good For You?
I’d say yes, the ingredients are healthy with the exception of some butter, but the benefits of eating a nutrient-dense meal can often outweigh the negatives.
For example, this cookie may not have any greens in it, but by eating one cookie, you could take in more calories from other foods.
So in that regard, it is better to replace your morning bagel or donuts with a warm and comforting cookie that will last you until lunch!
Will Penn Station Cookie Increase Your Appetite?
Maybe, research also says that chocolate increases your appetite as well as increases dopamine levels in your brain, which will send a “full” message to your brain, thus making you feel more full.
It can also help you avoid snacking on sweets and junk foods. But in the end, it doesn’t matter how full your stomach is if you aren’t eating real foods that provide you with real nutrients.
Will Penn Station Cookie Make You Feel Full?
If you eat a small to medium-sized cookie, then yes, it will make you feel full for several hours. But I would recommend replacing one of your meals with this healthy treat as opposed to trying to replace two!
That way, you will still get your vitamins, minerals, and nutrients throughout the day, which is very important to boost your metabolism and properly balance food groups.
For example, instead of just eating one meal a day, have a fruit smoothie as your first meal and then eat this cookie in the afternoon!
Are These Penn Station Cookies A Healthy Snack For Kids?
Yes, I would recommend this to anyone of all ages. The cookie is made with real ingredients and is not artificial or processed like other chocolate chip cookies you see in the stores today.
If you are concerned about calories, then cut the cookie into smaller pieces for your kids.
