Adriano Zumbo Passionfruit Tart Recipe

- Passion fruit pulp – 1 cup (250 g) (or mango or pineapple pulp if you don’t have the passionfruit)
- Sugar – 1 tbsp
- Ground almonds – 3/4 cup (100 g)
- Butter (melted) – 50 g
- Egg (1, large, beaten) – 1
- Milk – 2 tbsp
- All-purpose flour – 3/4 cup (50 g), sifted Baking dish 250 x 160 mm / 9.8 x 6.3 inches with a 23 cm / 9 inch diameter at its top.
Cooking Instructions For The Passionfruit Tart
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 180 °C / 350 °F / Gas Mark 4.
Step 2: If you use eggs, take them out of the refrigerator one hour before cooking.
Step 3: Mix the egg with milk and set it aside to make the pastry shell.
Step 4: Mix all-purpose flour and ground almonds together in a mixing bowl. Add sugar, melted butter, passion fruit pulp, mango, or pineapple pulp, then combine thoroughly.
